Has anyone adopted a ferret from Ferretown USA? If so, do you have any pictures and can you tell me what you think about this breeder and her ferrets?
Also, does anyone know of any breeders near the Southwest region of USA? I'm in Arizona. I know there is Mi Corazon in New Mexico. That's the closest breeder I know of. Does anyone have anything they can tell me about Mi Corazon, anyone have ferrets from her, pics, etc?
Any info you can share would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Mikey, I actually e-mailed Mi Corazon to get some information. She does breed, she's about 6 1/2 hours from me, she's going to the Utah Show it says, perhaps you could meet there or somewhere along the way? Seems like she might be traveling close to me for the Utah show, I might be interested in trying to meet her along the way, I just need to save up, she said she charges $350 per ferret ($150 deposit to hold the ferret)

350.00 for ferret. I got two kits for less than that and still have money left over.

I pay $200 for a farm ferret here. I've seen them for up to $400 too. I got Sunny and Shady for $200 for both cause the pet store wanted to get rid of them cause they are closing down.

Most of the breeder sites I looked at were $175 cheapest for a adult, fixed, up to $400 for kits. Mine were $125-$150 for farm ferrets and I would gladly pay $1000 if it meant better health, god knows I've spent thousands on farm ones anyways. I just wish there was a good breeder closer to me.

Agreed... a higher one-time price beats having more vet visits any day!

Oh of course not, but you can stack the odds as best you can and honestly I have no desire to further line the pockets of ferret farms so it's rescue or breeder.
