Tonight I whisked up an egg for my furrets, it went the complete opposite of how I expected. Lulu who I figured would be easy to start switching as she's fairly young I think went straight to licking it off of my finger and even stuck her nose in the bowl and licked up a bit. I got Jinx out who as I figured had no interest. I stuck a little on his nose. Still no interest. So I scruffed him and rubbed a bit on his gums. He would lick it then but still not from my finger. And certainly not from the bowl. After a few attempts I stuck them both back in their cage and put the dish in there. They both sniffed at it and decided they didn't want it. So I dropped a couple pellets into it to see if I could sort of trick them. And to my surprise Lulu wanted nothing to do with it, but Jinx went over and ate the whole egg and left the pellet. Then Lulu went over and gobbled up the pellet he left. So I guess we took a baby step tonight. Now to try again tomorrow. And maybe some meat soup over the weekend. Jinx eating. Lulu sniffing.

This morning Lulu went straight for the egg. No trickery or coaxing needed! I'm so proud of here. Going grocery shopping later today so I'm going to get supplies for soup.

Sounds like a good start! Don't forget- eggs are only once or twice a week. And don't be surprised with really funky poops
