Sorry another quick question as I've just turned to a complete raw diet. How long can I leave hole prey for them to eat. In the summer I was only leaving it in there over night. Most of the time time the pigeons or rabbits are fresh or out of the freezer

Whole prey can stay out for about 48 hours and can be fed fresh or frozen. Here is the guide for leaving food out. Times may vary depening on the weather and season. For example, you may want to remove food earlier during hot weather or summer in order to keep food fresh. Ferrets are smart and won't eat something gone bad, but it still helps to have fresh food available.
