I got a question about one of my ferrets in the other thread here, so I decided it should be a fine idea to make a separate topic to introduce my furry ones The oldest one is a lady with the name that's not easy to pronounce - Russian Ferret Aranel Lothanorili Holimion (called at home Tsvyatochek, meaning Flower). She is 6 years 7 months, implanted with Suprelorin. She actually seems to hate everyone around, excluding her son. Yet she is still charming in her own way. Russian Ferret Shrek (called at home Shrek) is the son of Tsvyatochek, he is 4 years 5 months. Currently in breeding for his last season before Suprelorin implantation. He is trully the love of my life Russian Ferret Solarbreeze Jaqen (called at home Jaqen) is the black ferret I got asked about in the other thread here. 3,5 years old, currently implanted with Suprelorin, but will hopefully get back into breeding for one season in 2017. Nord-West Ferret Chemberlen (Chember at home) is the only angora I currently have (I remember the times I swore I'll never have an angora ferret haha). This guy is only 8 months old, loves everyone around him, but on photos he usually looks as if he loves only himself

Absolutely gorgeous. I have a friend who would adore your champagne boy and possibly your angora. I love your wee poley boy though. Fantastic ferrets, and some great personality shots Great photography ciao

I swear, your photography just made me drool on my desk! And your babies are all so lovely! Those photos really did an amazing job in capturing some of the personality and uniqueness of each of them.
If I may ask, what camera and what type of setup did you use to take these?

If I may ask, what camera and what type of setup did you use to take these? I do lots of ferret photos (" ferretography", haha), mostly in-studio photography, not only of my fur babies. Just don't know which section of the forum would be appropriate for such and whether anyone is interested in such topic The camera is Nikon d800 + Nikkor 50 mm 1.4 G AF-S (mostly I use this lens) + sb-600 speedlight flash. Settings really depend on the situation Thank you for the compliment, I'll pass it to my furry ones

Well, I must say, you certainly can take some stunning photos. Animal photography is certainly not one of the easiest (even more so with little ferrets who just want to have fun haha!), and you seem to take it in stride, so bravo!
Interesting, I'll have to take a look into it. I've been camera hunting for the longest time now, but I never seem to quite make enough free time, so I haven't fully pursued it yet.

LindaM, I do animal photography just for fun, not as a job though I'd say ferrets are great models! Each and every ferret can pose nicely if you get the understanding of this exact ferret in front of the camera (i.e. how to make him do what you want for the camera).
