Yes. It says on the box to give them a full dose but I always do half.

Is it safe to take their kibble away for good tomorrow? Even if they don't each that much soup? Also if it has been longer than 8 hours that the soup has been out should I throw the left overs(if there is any) away or refrigerate it for the next meal to see if they will finish it?

This is Piper. She weighs 1.6 lbs. The only big noticeable difference beween the two is Henry's mask has a deep v and Piper's is more flat. Also Henry is a bit longer than her.

First off you may have to sit down with Piper and hand feed her to get her used to the soup. Don't take kibble completely away from them until they are eating enough.
Henry is in a different part of the house correct? He needs to be quarantined for 2 weeks especially with the flea problem. You will probably have to dose him in 3 or 4 weeks again to get rid of everything. He should really see a vet too.

He's in our room with us. In a different cage than her though. My boyfriend and I just checked on him and he seems to be fine. There are no more fleas on him and there aren't any fleas on her. His fur is kind of "dry" to the touch but his skin looks normal. We think he just needs a bath. We're going to give him one tomorrow. He has been eating lots compared to how much Piper usually eats (kibble wise). I am going to feed them soup in the morning/afternoon tomorrow.

We just cut up a cornish game hen. Is the whole thing edible for them? We threw away the ribs and took the skin off because it was easier to see. From it we got the wings, the legs and breast and a couple organs. I am going to try and get them to eat or chew on the wing tup before their bath.

Let us know how that goes.

You did take Henry to the vet, correct?

My friends dad is the local vet and I talked to him over the phone and he said not to bathe him if his skin is irritated (which it's not) also to watch his weight and make sure he's eating enough. He said to bring him in if I'm really concerned but I'm not. He's now playing and running around and he's eating a lot. He is only 9 months so I'm not worried about any diseases. He's had his first set of shots and flead. We gave him an oatmeal bath and gave them a chicken wing to share (to see if they had interest). I took the kibble away 3 hours before the wing so I'm hoping they'll be hungry for it or that it'll be gone by the time I check on them.

The problem is that I am worried, and I'm pretty sure Morgan is too. Anytime you get a new ferret, they should be seen by a vet asap. A vet cannot diagnose over the phone. He had so many fleas that it's very possible he ate some while grooming and that can cause worms. Please actually take him into the vet. I know you care for him, that's obvious, but please take my urging to heart. It's better to have him seen by a vet initially and not having anything to worry about vs not taking him in and him having something major wrong with him and possibly giving it to your other baby.

I will call in the morning to make him an appointment. Thank you. It is definitely better to take him in just to make sure.

Today's appointment went great! Henry is as healthy as can be. He is very sleepy at the moment and is not to happy that the vet stuck a thermometer in his toosh. Also ever since that he's been wiping(dragging) his butt after he goes poop?
