I don't know how I didn't notice before as they're quite dirty but my one guy has filthy ears, the rest of my ferrets clean each others ears and I use a little salmon oil on the ear if they need a little encouragement. However Porky's cagemate Frisk will not clean his ears,
Should I just take him to the vet for an ear cleaning or can I clean them myself using oil olive and a cotton ball?
Thanks!

Have you ruled out mites? Some ferrets just have gunky ears. If I've made sure they don't have mites, then I will put a little olive oil on a cotton swab and gently wipe out the ear ciao

So I don't think its that. I'll try the olive oil then, Thank you Heather!
