All of the ferrets in the rescue have moved to mice and quail. I have been using blue ridge tripe as the third protein. Unfortunately, two ferrets have gotten bloat with one passing away during the night(DIP Jinn). The br tripe is the only common factor. Testing on the second surviving ferret revealed e-coli and campylobacter. So I am looking for another affordable food source for them. Chicken and beef are out due to IBD/post ECE symptoms.

If I could find whole ducks, they might work. Organs have become difficult to source on the scale we need.

The Asian market I used to go to had whole ducks. Do you have an Asian market near you?

Rabbit, duck, goose, pork. I am able to find lots of pork organs at the Asian market usually - including heart. Whole duck usually comes with pretty measly organs IME. The meat is great though.

Rechecked the IBD switch thread. Duck and pork went well before. I"ll check availability here.
