Aw, dolls! How did you get them? I love the blissful expressions rats have when they eat - sort of dreamy-eyed NOMMMM.

Well they are ex lab rats. I adopted them because they would have been PTS. I thought not on the earth long and they never got to really be a ratty. Never to climb,jump or taste anything but lab blocks, it bothered me so I adopted 3 ..Mac (Macaroni) passed a few weeks ago but these 2 are fine.

Never to climb,jump or taste anything but lab blocks, it bothered me so I adopted 3 ..Mac (Macaroni) passed a few weeks ago but these 2 are fine. What a great thing you did for these guys. I've been thinking about seeing if I could get lab rats in the future - from what I've read there is no mycoplasma in lab rats, unlike any other strains.

You learn something new everyday! I know mycoplasma is a dangerous thing for rats. I've had (rats) them for around 10 years and I never had 1 one bout of it. Tumors yes but that's it.
