I don't know anything around the house I can smash it with other than a hammer >.< I think we have one of those in the tool box.

How much should I demolish it with the hammer? Have a pic for reference?

Even though I put the pork in there already I left the remaining chicken thigh that had a bit of bone. He still prefers the thigh over the pork, he's gnawing away at that bone now! He was gnawing on it when I went to give my daughter a bath, I came back and the bone is actually visible length wise now as he's butterflied the remaining meat off of it. He seems to really like chicken bones. I'm going to get a hammer and give it a few whacks and put it back in his cage and see what he does.

I would just smash it until the bone shards are rather small and all mixed in with the meat. I don't have any pictures, but just continue smashing it until the bone shards are small and cannot be separated from the meat. Go Jude!

Alright I meant to update yesterday but totally spaced it. I got some chicken livers (eewww! This is going to be hard for me to feed as the package itself makes my gut turn, it just smells and looks nasty and I'm not squeemish!)
I ordered 4 beef hearts, I had to buy half a package just to get them to order it. I told them I would time this and let them know when to have it ready for based on how much he eats/how often/fast, also picked up some chicken wings as well as some more ground beef (I think it's his second favorite next to chicken) he's been gnawing at the chicken wing pretty well. I clipped it to the cage, so he can't get carried away with it.
I invested in a stainless steel bowl, however, I didn't think about the neat little grippy on the bottom that is made out of plastic, he loves to dig at it, so I'll have to use it when I'm not clipping meat to his cage, and hope that he doesn't demolish it or try to eat it. Then I'll have to get a new one >.<
On an unrelated note, I picked up some neat watercolor yarn, I'll post pics of all the colored yarn I have today. Also, got a sewing machine, ordered some fabric from Joanns, should be here in a week! EEP!

Yeah liver is pretty gross Can you find any other organs like spleen, kidney, etc? Great about the heart. Some love it some don't so let me know how Jude does Right now you've got chicken, pork and beef. Have you tried turkey yet? Mine love the necks and Cornish game hen is a great bird - lots of small bones That's awesome about the fabric I bet Jude ant wait for his new stuff

Ohh I did get some ground turkey, the variety of turkey is very small for whatever reason. Next week we pick up the heart since we only go to that store once a week. Depending on how much it costs I might pick up some cornish hen, I saw that they had two whole ones for $11. I can special order kidney, but I have to buy eight packages, hubby said get the hearts, order the kidneys for the following week our freezer is going to be full of yucky meats we won't eat, lol! I have like four or five packages coming, going to be a busy week for the post office! Package from V with bedding, two packages from my mom [it has some ferret stuff in it from my old boys I more want it for a keepsake] a package from Joanns, and today I'm ordering a new litter box for Jude. I think I'm going to get the Marshalls High Back and tie it with wire to the cage. Geeze that's a lot of packages!

Okay, that is wonderful a out the kidney So since chicken is your only bone in meat, I definitely think some more bone variety is necessary. Cornish game hen or turkey necks, small pork ribs, chicken feet (more of a snack), duck bones, etc. I'm getting a 28 Qt sterilite container for my next litter box. I've never used marshalls high backs. Sounds like lots of fun shopping

Oh and I ordered a set of 100pcs of bedding hooks on eBay forgot that one.
I will look into some more bone meats... seem less popular around here unfortunately.
I thought about it, but with my stupid SP cage it would be a pain.

Yay for more fun of teaching another one raw =] I feel bad for her, she hasn't ate since she got here, but I can't cage and give her kibble >.< I put some ground beef in there, waiting for the chicken wing to thaw so I can also clip that in there as well.

Do you have a blender? Making some raw soup would be a last resort if she won't touch the ground beef. You can also Scruff and stuff some food in her to see if she will eat it
