Hey guys so I just got my first ferret a couple of days ago and I noticed he was limping so I took him to the vet they did an X-ray on him and then put a cast on his little arm. He is on metacam and shakes a lot minutes after I give it to him. I noticed that the paw he has the cast on is swollen and very red. Is this normal guys? The vet is closed now and I am scared that he might be having some pain because the cast is too tight. Thank you for your responses!

I would definitely head back to the vet as soon as possible.

Agree with bitbyter. Go to vet as soon as possible. Cast is too tight!

I agree. ASAP. He could loose the whole leg if too much damage occurs and it cuts the circulation off. This is an emergency ciao
