@shaman I would seriously consider changing that kibble. Pea protein is too high in that list (shouldn't be in the first five), and Pea protein has been linked with bladder stones. We picked it because it's what my Pomeranian is currently eating - she gets dry as well as raw and this is one of the dry foods in her rotation. Since we started the raw transition within 5 days of Shaman coming home I didn't bother picking the perfect dry food (though still far superior to the Marshalls he was eating at the store) and he's eating 100% raw soup now, soon to work on chunks of raw. I appreciate your concern! OP: It's quite expensive, but I really like the Nature's Variety freeze dried raw. Primal Pet Foods also makes a decent freeze dried raw with more protein options (beef, chicken, duck, lamb, pork, turkey, venison, and some that include salmon with another protein). Both do have vegetable matter but far less than most grain free dry foods. Some people think freeze dried raw is more "addictive" than kibble and it may be harder to transition them back off of it to raw, so keep that in mind if you choose it.

So for now until I can switch to raw, I was going to do Wysong Epigen 90 with Stella & Chewy's Duck Duck Goose Dinner Freeze-Dried Cat Food.
Is this okay to feed them as a mixed meal?
Sorry for all the questions.
