Honestly, I think I'm the lucky one here haha. I can't imagine life after these guys!!
1. Ferret's name: Blaze
2. Ferret's weight: 1lb 13.1 oz
3. Ferret has eaten "X" amount on average per meal. 0.5-1.5 oz
4. Stools on various proteins: currently on soup; loose consistency and stronger smell (A note on poops- I've been putting 3/4 tsp of eggshell powder, but I'm seeing that it's passing right through them and making their poops seedy. I'm getting a coffee grinder so I can make them finer (since I'm hand grinding and they're only grains at the moment) and I've cut back to 1/2 a tsp instead)
5. Activity level: hyper; more so than usual
6. Weekly menu:

Okay, so I forgot that the soupie blocks are only equal to about 0.8 oz and ended up with a little over a 3:1 ratio for overnight food; there's barely enough soup to cover the chicken, so we'll see how they deal with that tomorrow morning. The good news is I saw Blaze eat a few bites, so it can't be that bad (fingers crossed!)
Just a note here (more for myself and whoever babysits the fuzzies if I leave):
Morning meal: 3 cubes
*Check in around 12PM, then 2PM. When bowl is empty, put in 3 more cubes worth (
Nighttime meal/overnight: 4 cubes
On average, counting both overnight and daytime meals, they're eating about 5 cubes/4 oz each. (Rounding numbers, I know Blaze eats less than that, and cubes aren't an even ounce all the time.) About the plates: I've tried ceramic, plastic, and paper; the result is the same. They nose it until the thing falls off their shelf. Usually ends with a giant bang that wakes up both my cousin and I...which then results in a pillow to the face and then me cleaning up ferret dinner at 3AM. They don't do the same to the bowls because I've fitted them into the holes of the shelves. (I'll take a picture tomorrow so you can see what I mean). I might have figured it out though
