I don't see an issue with it since you've washed it. Guess what?! It's time to up the size of the meat slices! I'd like you to try putting slivers of meat (about the size of your pinky nail) in their soup and see what they do. (dance)

YAY!!! I'm so excited! How would I go about that? I have almost 5 oz left of regular soup. Do I finish that off and start them off with bigger peices on the next batch? Also, to get the bigger peices, do I cut it up separate and mix in or just not blend it as much as the regular?

If you have some chicken thigh still hanging around you can try cutting it up into small pieces and putting soup over it. Try to trick the fuzzies into thinking that it is apart of the soup.

Okay, I put about a teaspoon worth of cut up chicken thigh (about the suggested size, some a little smaller) and mixed it in with around 2.5 oz of soup. I'm not sure if it's the soup being chunky or the pieces, but it looks like they're attempting to eat around the bits instead of eating them; I'll update tomorrow when I check their bowl and refill for breakfast.

Bahahahaha, that's normal, you may have to scruff, wait until they yawn, and pop a piece in their mouth, then let them run away. Try this in the morning and night before they get food.

Guess what I woke up to! They emptied the bowl! So I'll kep putting bits in. Was the ratio okay or should I put more into it when breakfast comes?

Try that same ratio one more time and watch them. I wanna make sure it's both of them and not just one being a piggy (giggle)

Good news Both of them ate it. I fed then and they shared the bowl. I know both of them ate the chunks because they'll have to stop for a second and chew and then go back to eating.

Hey guys sorry I've been out. As Kelsey already knows my boy Kenai suddenly became very sick. His kidneys shut down and we unfortunately had to let him go. The next day I had to get on a plane for a residency interview. I just got back last night. I'll try to skim back and see what I've missed, but a quick catchup would be very appreciated as well.

That is so amazing! Let's start putting more pieces in and less soup!

katt my heart still hurts for your loss. I will continue praying that Koda continues to do okay without his brother. I kept Sierra's aunt Amber just feeding them the soup, and we introduced pinky finger nail sized thigh pieces last night and this morning and both ate them!

That is so amazing! Let's start putting more pieces in and less soup! Should I be adding bits in with just the AM/PM meals or both meala and the cage plate?

Thank you, we are still reeling from it all. That's great progress that they are taking slivers, definitely start increasing them in both meals.
