I just received my first shipment of ground chicken from a local farm. And I mixed it in with their kibble the way I did FDR and canned food and they eat it ok but when I refreshed their water I found a couple chicken pieces in bottom.
Satan did it too when I gave them 1/2 to 1 inch slices of meat. Satan took pretty easily to the soup mixture but when i tried giving him he repeatedly knocked it off the shelf. I think that's just his cage rage since he still has a week and a half of cage rest left.)
Are the behaviors discribed normal?

I would be careful about mixing the raw in with the kibble. It can cause some ferrets to develop a bacterial overload. As for the behaviours yes completely normal. Which is why I use a flat dish on the main level. They just knock a dish off a shelf
