Oh, about the same. Mouth is STILL killing me three weeks later. Marshall ferrets won't eat bones. Max and Chloe love them. Chloe is still mean as ever. Haha! How can I get the Marshalls to eat the bones? Ugh! They want nothing to do with them. I have cut their S&C down to 2 oz and adding more grinds in. They are eating it so that's good. Roscoe is having less bad poop. He only had one bad day last week. Better than everyday like he was having! I bought some turkey necks with my last Hare Today order. Does that count as bone in meal? I bought chicken legs and wings, Cornish hen. I don't know what else to get.

are the grinds coarse or fine? yes necks count as bone in. quail and rat and guinea pigs and mice are great for bones and are whole prey and that is another level of great for them. use the cleaver to chop the bone in thins as small as you can and give that a try.

I have both. Coarse and fine grind. They will eat the coarse just not when I hand them a leg or a wing.

Roscoe is really sick right now. I don't know what's wrong with him. He's at the vets office now. They may keep him overnight. He ate yesterday morning then threw up. After that he's been very lethargic and won't eat. I took him to the vet yesterday and they kept him all day. They are saying it's the food but all the others are fine. They are against raw feeding by the way. Anyway, they put him on metronidazole and told me to start him back on the carafate. This morning, he was a lot worse so I took him back in. He is there now. They are having to force feed him carnivore care. They are going to call me at 4 with an update if I can bring him home or not. I am worried sick about him!

The others ate the same thing he did. I left that out of my last post.

He's doing so much worse. He can barely walk. He was fine Wednesday. Running and playing and so sick on Thursday. I don't know what happened. He's on two antibiotics now, Carafate, and an anti nausea medicine. He's never been this sick before. He's only 3 years old too.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry. Is he home with you now or has the vet kept him? Is there any improvement?

He's home with me now. I took him to the shelter today and she gave him fluids. He was dehydrated. I'm giving him Pedialyte every few hours note so he doesn't get dehydrated again. Going back to the vet tomorrow. They didn't do a CBC and chemistry panel and I am going to ask that they do that. He does fight me when I syringe feed him so he does still have some fight in him.

Oh goodness, I'm sorry it took me so long to check back in! I have been having a time of it with Loki also but he is still fighting too so I will fight right with him. How is he doing now? How is everyone else doing? How is your mouth doing?

Mouth is still hurting. Dr said it will take time to heal but everything looks good. He is acting a little better. Taking him for a second opinion since the other vet says he has salmonella without doing a test. The others are doing good. I'm still having to syringe feed Roscoe but he is up and moving around a little.

Took Roscoe to the other vet and she felt a knot that was painful to him. She did a sonogram and took an x-ray. She saw a mass. She sedated him and did an aspirate. I think I'm saying that right? Anyway, he has lymphoma. 😠He is going to have to take prednisone and she is starting him on Cytoxan.

Roscoe is doing horrible today. He is just laying around. I'm afraid it's getting close to the end for him.
