Hi ,I have a 3ish year old neutered male ferret. He lives outside ( I'm in the UK ), he's fed on a balanced whole prey diet, is vaccinated against canine distemper and lives alone. For a long time, I have noticed tiny red spots on his skin like little pinpricks all close together, they've been on and off and in different places, currently on his tail but he has had them on his face, like around his nose mouth and ears. They don't seem itchy or sore, I don't know if they would wash off as he hates water, he's absolutely terrified of getting wet. I'm having trouble uploading photos but ill try again tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what's causing the spots or what I could do about them, or if there's nothing wrong with them? I haven't taken him to the vet for it as he doesn't seem bothered at all by it, should I?

@elliotsferrets just saw this, sorry. We would really need to see some pics to know if they are bites, or what they may be.
