I gave them bone meal on their beef stew meat and their stools improved overnight. Unfortunately, I thought things were going well until this morning Piper's stool looked like this: I need to try the probiotic thing, would plain yogurt do the same thing as kefir?

I went out and found some kefir, I wasn't sure which to get but I saw on this thread that Heather uses Goat Kefir so that's what I bought! holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/18126/kefirDo I need to give them a teaspoon a day? For how many days, just until their stools improved? Thank you!

I would do a teaspoon 1-2 times a day. Goats milk kefir is perfect since its even lower in lactose.
Are they showing any symptoms other an diarrhea? Are they both having the same diarhhea? If so it might be time to call the vet.

Both have normal activity levels, drinking and eating levels, and after the first "dose" of 1 tsp kefir yesterday both of their stools are much better - no more diarrhea or anything. They both also gained weight - I find it strange that they both have pretty synced weights as they are both at 1lb 12 oz...last weight was 1lb 6.6 for both of them! Both ate all of their heart, with the heart not being ground up at all

sounds like they're doing really well? I'm glad they've gained weight too! I think it'll be good if we set some guidelines for you to follow. Once a week I would like for you to weigh them both and post their menu for the week. Whatever day of the week that works best for you is fine, but that way we're doing things on a set schedule.

It's with a heavy heart I am withdrawing from the Mentor Program. I'm sorry for the inconveniences this has caused, I thank you for all of your help.
