Yeah, i was leaning towards maybe 6 - 9 months rather than straight away when we collect them. (In 2 weeks)

Hi hold on for a year if you can forget the rabies unless your going to take them abroad and I would say just one distemper in there life time remember it wont stop them getting distemper but it may give them a fighting chance if they do and its a big May your vet must not be used to ferrets if he has to knock them out to get a blood sample lol a little tip ring round for costs because they vary hugely a little bit of travelling may save you a fortune take care bye for now Bev

I don't vaccinate for anything until mayernal antibodies have worn off. 6 months is a good guestimate. What the "kit series" does is 1st hopefully destroys maternal antibodies so serum takes effect. Second is a "just in case" to finish destroying maternal antibodies, and/or to trigger immune response. Third is again "in case" second was needed to defeat antibodies and then trigger response.
