Is the gate ferret-proof? It looks like it, but ferrets always end up surprising us.

It is for all of them except Boris When that particular group is in the room for the day, I have to put a piece of plywood in the left side, clamped with a C-clamp on the right . It blocks him from getting his paws over the top when he jumps up, so he can't haul himself up and over. And since it also increases the gate height by about 6 inches, he can't jump it.

Darlene- yes, he does. When he was younger, his vet at that time told us he was likely part bob cat. Mainly because of the strong musk scent he put out before he was neutered. Along with the size of his haunches, claws, and the tufts he used to have on his ears And ferretdroogies? Suave isn't quite it. He got that name shortly after we got him at 6 weeks of age. We watched him try to do things for a couple of days, and one evening hubby looked at me, shook his head, and said "Well- he's certainly no Sherlock!" ;D He's not, let's say, the swiftest kitty around

Now that I look at Mr. Stubbs, I can see how he looks different. He does seem quite large.

In his "heyday", he was 18lbs, and VERY strong. Now, at 17 years of age, he's senile, has dropped to 12lbs, but id by no means much weaker. He's still a very strong cat. And can he ever jump! Not as high, or as far as when he was 3-4 years old, but still!
