Him does got big feets, lol. Another amazing fact: He has taken to Lola, and they've shared an FN level for a couple days now without problems. They wrestle outside and it gets very vocal, but it ends well. She is the first one that backed him into a corner once he matured We're so happy he finally has a bunkie. We've tried letting Yoshi and Mogli sleep with him but it seems they don't like sharing his litter box and always crap on the level floor.

click on VIDEO He is the strongest and smartest ferret I've even known. How do I fix this? The drawers are adjacent to the under sink cabinet with all the bad stuff. He loves the taste of soap, there is dishwasher soap, lubricant, CLR, drain cleaner. I also saw him opening second drawer and found him in third drawer with kitchen knives. DANG, JUNIOR!!!! Give us a break!! IMG_0907 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr

I ended up using 2 magnetic cabinet latches one on each side of the drawer, so that when the drawer was closed the metal plates would line up against the magnets and create a little more resistance when opening the drawers. if you need more help envisioning how this was done I can take a couple of pictures of my drawers and post them up

I just went to a place that sold baby stuff and got child drawer locks (had thought I'd skipped all that not being a breeder but ferrets, eh?). The ones I chose wouldn't work for your drawers because mine are at the end of the kitchen cabinets and the locks I got attach round the corner but I'm sure there must some for your type of drawers because I'm sure people who breed need them.

I got some drawer locks so that issue is resolved. Apparently I need to put one on the pantry as The Ferret in Question now has the ability to open the door from outside. Once inside, well... IMG_1271 (1) by unclejoe1158, on Flickr

That's hilarious! (sorry!). Was he covered in flour when you caught him? I'm glad you fixed the drawer problem, at least. Scamp's keeping you on your toes, and the rest of us very entertained

Oh dear, and I thought my trouble monster was bad. There is likely some type of lock that will work. It’s probably the only way to keep him out. If you can’t you may have to abandon the ones on the end and not put in anything that is dangerous. I’ve had them take over drawers before.

Oh no lol! He is well named isn't he? He is indeed, and we knew it Day 1. And he now has the ability to leap onto dining chairs, and today he got onto the table. It's only a matter of time until Diego learns his methods. IMG_1037 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr IMG_1148 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr

And here is where I appreciate that my walk-in pantry door is a 8ft (I think) tall door, they're an irregular size due to the vaulted ceilings. I still make sure not to open it when they have a bit of exploration upstairs.. I already saw this morning what can happen in mere seconds of a ferret invasion when my four stormed into my office faster than I could close the door and each of them spread into four opposite directions, war dancing and bouncing into things all over the place. Cat coming inside after them only made things harder. It took me several minutes to gather each of them into my arms and shout for the hubby to come help me get them out and the door closed as a single person would NOT have managed both actions.

OK, once again my solution to similar trials won't work without adjustment. Noodles was my drawer monster but Diablo proved problematic with cupboards, specifically the kitchen cupboard I keep coffee, drinking chocolate, sugar etc. in. Even though it is an upper cupboard, mounted on the wall some distance above the kitchen bench where the jug etc. are, he still managed not only to get up to it but open it, climb in and dig in the sugar leaving the entire area covered in sugar. My cupboard, however was one in a row of 4 cupboards and my solution was to use an old hair elastic twisted around the knobs of the two cupboards whose doors faced each other. Years later I still remove and replace the elastic each time I open and close the cupboard. While your cupboard does not have a neighbouring cupboard with knob to wrap an elastic round, you could put a screw in the side wall and use that and the door handle to keep little noseys out.
PS I got a good laugh out of Scamp's cupboard redecoration
