Well, Summer's babies are growing like weeds at 7 weeks and 3 days old ... and eating loads. Today they have so far gotten through 3 large weaner rats, 5 chicks, 100g of chopped duck wings and they were waiting for their tea when I just took them another 100g of duck wings, another rat, 6 large mice and about 100g of mince. In the morning they will get a woodpigeon ... and I bet they will finish that by late afternoon!! Mitt jill Black jill Little jill Smaller sandy jill Bigger sandy jill Pink jill Green hob (biggest) Smallest hob with the BIGGEST eyes Blue hob And finally ... the mitt hob Black jill and bigger sandy are going to their new home together when they are old enough so a quick snap I took of them together ... as you can see everything goes into their mouths lol! They're a stunning litter and Summer has done a superb job with them. I can tell them all apart now without the food colouring ... but it's for the benefit of photos as I get confused in photos lol!

Sooo sooo cute! And may I ask @vickiann, what is a woodpigeon? Is it a UK term for a pigeon (rock dove), or a different species?

Sooo sooo cute! And may I ask @vickiann , what is a woodpigeon? Is it a UK term for a pigeon (rock dove), or a different species? It's similar to a rock dove ... www.rspb.org.uk/discoverandenjoynature/discoverandlearn/birdguide/name/w/woodpigeon/They're usually bigger than rock doves/pigeons and there's plenty of them in the UK. The woodpigeons I feed are steel shot wild birds and are pretty big! They're very high in protein, really good quality source of nutrition for ferrets
