and Ash. My beautiful Summer has completely astonished me with her litter of TEN who arrived Thursday 19th May. Last litter she only had one kit and she wasn't *that* big in the belly this time. Unfortunately, she carried 11 but one little jill was stillborn DIP little girl. Summer looking all sleek

(giggle) Just noticed you can see Dolly peering up below Summer in that photo too! She was thinking it must be her turn for a run around, bless her.

Looks like there will be a couple of darker ones. When looking at the group, at least the two who are centre of the big group pic should be a decent darker colour ciao

Well Summer has made it clear what she thinks of me touching her babies! She has rejected not only the nestbox but also the soft cat bed I offered her and has made her own nest under the floor mat so I can neither see nor touch them! She is such a funny jill. I have only ever been a means to an end for Summer, I am a climbing frame, the cleaner and the dinner lady and that's always been the limit of my significance for Summer! And I am not allowed to see her babies yet! It's so funny because all of my other jills are like Mischief and so relaxed about me seeing and handling the little ones!

Lady Lola didn't want me messing with her babies. I could peek as long as her babies didn't start meeping....if they started to squirm and make a noise, I was to leave. She was really good the first couple of days. I could look and count but I wasn't allowed to touch, then she moved them and I wasn't allowed near them ciao

Well Summer doesn't make life easy for herself. I've lost count of the number of times she has moved nest! Today she has decided the carrier makes a handy nest so it's had to go back in with her after cleanout! Too many babies to post all their pics ... so just a selection at 24 days old A surprise little mitted hob A sable jill with wacky mid-moult hair-do! A dark sandy jill (the two lightest were both sandies) All doing really well with nice fairly uniform weights. Summer is doing a wonderful job ... she only needs me to be cleaning lady and dinner lady. The rest she would rather do herself (giggle)
