What specific toys do you all you all recommend? I know they have to be pretty hardy!
What if you have a bad chewer?

My guys love those plastic Easter Eggs. I also have balls of different shapes and sizes of different materials, knitted, crochet, fleece, denim...some have jingle bells in them. Some of them like those teaser type toys, the ones that are a long stick with some feathers at the end. I have this bird toy that chirps but it's at the end of a long elastic string...They love it and will chase and grab the bird, shake it and try to stash it under the couch...but they can't because i'm holding onto the elastic and as soon as they let go of it it springs back to me, this gets them so upset it's funny...kind of like "Hey I just stashed that why/how did you get it?!?!" They also love crinkle tubes, and long black drainage tubes, and dig boxes, I have one that is filled with Christma bows...Hopefully soon I'll get a bin and fill it with rice.

Boxes, paper bags, plastic bags(supervision only!), towels. Dig boxes, tunnels, cat teasers, derby eggs(a very particular type of crocheted egg)- mine will pick out the derby eggs over any other crocheted eggs ;D

Just to add to what's been said: my girls love pens, tennis balls, roll-able fruit and veggies, shoes, and socks.

Pixie likes to roll fruit around on the floor. She prefers small oranges, but will settle for potatoes, grapefruit, and squash.

Boxes, plastic bags with holes cut in them (only under supervision). I like the cloth toys Rose makes - www.littlefeetferretbedding.net/ And I've heard good things about Scrivener's Retreat's toys on Etsy and their own site, I'd love to get some of those later on, they're so cute - www.scrivenersretreat.com/

Cardboard boxes with holes cut out and tubes (dryer vent) attached. Like the plastic eggs, I had some plastic pumpkins which Bonkers loves. Cat toys. Booth is my chewer so I worry about the soft cat toys, but Booth has a favorite he never chews, just stashes and sleeps with.

Crumb has a small Sock Monkey that squeeks that he absolutely adores, as soon as he's noticed that I've unstashed it he takes it away from me and stashes it again!

Hard plastic toys. That's pretty much all I use bc Koda is a bad chewer. Also tough material stuffed toys with No har noses or eyeballs. Plastic Baby toys work well.
