So my girls have been on raw for 2 days now . I know one is eating the other isn't loosing or gaining but haven't seen her eat so hopefully she really is . They are both having extreme diarrhea and I'm wondering if this is normal with Transitioning. It's pretty much straight brown liquid

You really need to check both are eating. Plummeting blood glucosse levels are a VERY real and dangerous possibility with ferrets. Hand feed if need be, otherwise make sure they have access to kibble within a couple hours of removing the raw. And yes, stools can get really funky during transition as they detox.

Thank you so much for bringing up this topic! I've noticed that the 2 of our ferrets who have been transitioning to raw have really funky poos as well. Was going to post because I was really worried but now my mind is more at ease. Thank you!!!

Generally (on average), how long does the detox process take?
