So far since switching to raw Ty has lost 6.5 pounds (he started at 30 pounds). In the past couple of weeks he hasnt lost any weight. Right now he gets 4 oz of food every day. Can I limit it any more?

What do you want him to weigh? According to my calcs, you've got him set up for about 15 lbs to be his desired weight. Like people, he may have reached a plateau. I would be checking to see how much fat is in his diet (don't limit too much but you possibly could lean it out). At least for now, I would be tempted to hold and see if by increasing his activity levels you might be able to get him to loose more. Are you also sure he's not snaking? ciao

Yep. 15 pounds would be a good weight for him. I will take out a little fat from his diet and try to exercise him but he is still very lazy.

Have you tried "Da Bird"? I've never met a cat that didn't freak out over that toy. The ferrets too!
My husky boy Jasper was super lazy and I started playing with Da Bird for 5 or 10 minutes a few times a day. Now he's always excited when it comes out.

I bought one of those toys "Da Bird"-- Sonny loved it but i had to take it away from him bc he ate the feathers.

I will have to try that. I have never gotten a toy with feathers before. Hopefully he likes it.
