The lighter mask is for camouflage out in the wild they should get a lot darker than they are yes ferrets and falcons they are polecats lol ( mom is not jet black she is medium well medium to me lol there dad is a real dark poley ) it will be interesting to see what there final colouration is all have black noses so that's a good start lol no pink nosed polecats in here lol I love that pic of Bert cuddling Tico heather for once he is his friend lol take care bye for now Bev

LOL....Bev that's Lady Merida. She's her father's daughter and is every bit his doppelganger. She even weighs only a couple of oz less than he does. If you double check, the nose is all black instead of having a chunk out if it. I'm so interested in seeing what type of kits she produces as I've never had jills like these two (Ladies Merida and Boudicca) Their momma did me proud. ciao

The top pic is mom with her four daughters she is keeping watch as usual the bottom pic is her four sons I had to separate them as they where eating all the food lol they are ten weeks now but eating like full grown hobs lol anyone watching breakfast feed would have a good laugh I have to quickly open the doors and place in the dish I dont attempt to take out the dish from the night before I wait for backup keith loads them all in a carry box so I can clean and give them lunch then its the same thing at tea time lol its open place in dish and run for the hills lol take care bye for now Bev

Yeah, I sorta frisbee the plate across the barrier and make sure I get my hands out of reach. Mine are 11 weeks tomorrow. Demon spawn.

Made the lethal mistake of putting a handful of whole prey in onto Summer's litter's feeding mat yesterday .... and you all know what happened ... my thumb got grabbed in the frenzy. OUCH! Note to self in future ... keep hands out of the food!! I ought to know better, this is not the first time I have been so silly!

lol its all a learning curve the bite training is the worst lol I make sure they are stuffed full of food before I even attempt it lol tomorrow is going to be fun I picked up some whole huge turkey legs from my local supermarket today ( only £3.00 each ) and believe me they are big now thats going to keep them occupied tomorrow lol take care bye for now Bev

I feed a lot of turkey legs. They can strip one in short order.
