After the longest time painting and sorting the first of my new hutch blocks ... it's finally in place and the ferrets got to try it out today! Got some bedding in ... Tubes and beds in ... 3 hutches occupied... But Ash and Eli were too pumped with hormones to get along after being separated for a week so ... the bottom hutch had to be made up too! They spent ages running round before they settled. They seem to like their new homes anyway!

So is that a block of flats you have there, with the levels separated? It looks brilliant!

So is that a block of flats you have there, with the levels separated? It looks brilliant! It is at the moment ... I might cut in some trapdoors so I can link levels in the future but haven't done that so far. I am really pleased with how it's turned out. It was a lot of work to paint it that way and get it all varnished etc but I'm glad I have. First cleanout will be the decider. They will soon let me know what I've done wrong and should improve for the next one I do!
