She's acting fine playing and dooking and she ate her heart meal this morning.

You are right, you do not have to do anything extra with hare today products. She may not do well with mice, you should try again though and if it is the same result with the vomit I would avoid mice for her.

Because I took her to go grab my husband and she sat on my lap and then she watched out the window on my lap. She came home and played then I put her in her cage and she threw up a little not much but about a quarter size. And then she was fine. I figured I would give her an egg to flush the system and give her some pumpkin. Thoughts?

You said her poops have been fine? If that is right I would not give her the pumpkin. You can try the egg though in case it is her fur. I would think ferrets could get car sick just like anything else, but the time frame seems off to me for it to have been that. If there is more vomit in the morning you may want to think about vetting her. I am going to tag Sherry Heather and katt though to see if they have any other ideas or if you should just vet her.

poop just now. A little funky looking. But she is bright eyed and ate all the egg and wanted to come out to play.

After that poop she played with nala for about an hour or maybe more I can't remember. She just had an egg poop. Typical soft/runny you know it looks like what went in came out... still very alert wants to come out of cage. Gums are pink pads are pink and what's pink on her nose is pink lol just ate a good amount of beef and ate all of it and then cuddled in her blankies and now she's sleeping.

Still happy ferret. Had a solid poop. In the picture the right more soft looking poop was during the night and the left poop that's solid was about 20 minutes ago. So her poops are better.

What on earth was that bit at the top in the first pic? Almost looks like a bit of metal? If not, and actually a bit of fur, it was likely she either ate too fast, or the fur gave her a tickle.

I think between the flash and the poop behind it looked like metal. I was posting that picture because of the color. She also had that redish color after she ate the mouse am thinking it didn't sit well with her. I will try the mouse maybe in a couple days to make sure her system is back to normal which already looks like she is fine.

The dark poop at the top was duck hearts.

I think it is a great idea to give her a few days of rest before trying a mouse again.
