Miss Prissy was helped across the Bridge today. She just became too weak to get around. Her 9th birthday was just 8 days ago. She was a Real Canadian and had the fighting spirit that goes with the name, and lived in Ontario, Florida and Tennessee USA. As a younger sprite, she only had one ferret friend, and would attack any others. She also refused to be caged, and broke 2 canines trying to get out. When we brought her, Dar24, Jaffa, Kahlua and Boodles from Canada to Florida in 2011, she spent the entire trip sleeping on the floor between my feet or in my lap. But she loved her people. She also had some favorite stuffed toys. To be honest, when Dar and I figured out we would be spending the rest of our lives together, I looked forward to meeting Jaffa but dreaded meeting Priss. I told Dar that Priss and I needed to talk about picking on any of my ferrets. It turned out that Jaffa was the bigger bully. Prissy just wanted to be left alone, while Jaffa would actually go looking for trouble. And why not. He was 2-3 times as big as the rest. Prissy's passing marks the end of an era. She was the last of the 9 ferrets that we owned when we got married 4 1/2 years ago. That's right, 9 ferrets in 4.5 years. We love you Priss Priss. We hope you and Kahlua can snuggle again. With Kahlua, her only ferret friend

Fly high little Priss. You can dance, dook and see again. No more confusion and fear. Snuggle with your bridge buddies and keep a spot warm for your ferrents. They will join you in time...

Thank you everyone. Can't say we miss the BID meds and te cleanups, but she knew her schedule and would wake up for her meds right spot on, even tho she hated tking them. She knew sh'd get fresh soupies after. We had been kinda of hoping she would just go in her sleep. We started considering helping her cross last fall when she got really lethargic, but she made a comeback. Must have had a flu. In fall of 14 we took a trip to Ft Meyers Beach to meet a ferret.com mod and never expected her to make it home. Never got any nose kisses but she would lick our arms. She was a oner. What I loved was her eye makeup and her facial expression which always looked like she was smiling.

DIP Miss Prissy, go find Kahlua and play hard up there xx
She was, like your Snowy. At the end she learned to tolerate the others, and even shared an occasional meal. Only twicw since kalua passed die I find her sleeping with anyone else.
