A heart meal should be the same amount (by weight) as other meals. Even chicken hearts are very unevenly sized, so my suggestion is to weigh heart/liver/organ meals carefully so you can tell how much of them you're feeding.

Yes, just like raynebc said you should weigh them to a normal meal size.

Thanks guys! For those of you who order your hearts, how long does it generally take to get to you from the time you order? I've had zero luck finding a local source so ordering it is! I'll be ordering on the first and since they are both getting about 3.5 oz a piece I only have a weeks worth left from what the chicken lady gave me. Just curious how many gizzard packs I'll have to sift through to find hearts if needed!

If I order Sunday night or Monday, I will have my stuff in by Friday. Some places have shipping days.

My last order from Hare Today was placed on a Friday and it arrived the following Weds (5 days later). They ship on Mondays and Tuesdays I believe.

Awesome. Thank you. I'll probably have to buy a few gizzard/ heart packs to get me through until the order arrives.
