It sounds like she must have inhaled a bit of fur or something in her play. I have one who does that occasionally, scares the crap out of both of us. Ferrets don't like the gag reflex and if it happens, they can turn into little drama queens, gagging and hacking all over the place until they can calm down. She's sleeping now, so just keep an eye on her when she wakes up. If she starts gagging again, check to make sure there is no hair or anything stuck in her teeth that could be tickling her throat.

She's been fine for the past couple of days now. I kept a close eye on her and she's been fine, eating, drinking and playing like no other. I didn't know that about Ferrets that they didn't like the gag reflex. They both are still molting too at the moment so that would make sense with the fur. Thank you!
