Yes otc flea meds are horribly dangerous. Which is why those will never be recommended either. But given the facts that a bad fkea infestation has the potential to be fatal, the correct med in the correct dosage FROM YOUR VET is the ONLY thing that will be advised. Dawn never will be.

Does anyone know if Advantage kitten is okay, or is it just the multi?

Advantage multi is what has been tested for ferrets. Other topical meds have been safely used before though. So i would imagine the kitten safe enough but as akways talk to your vet if unsure
