Zoey vomited three times last night. It was clear with some foam, nothing in it. I kept an eye on her, as soon as she vomited the third time, she went over and started wrestling with Axel, so I figured it wasn't anything too serious but I should keep my eye on her. This morning I checked on her, she was awake and alert and ready to get out of the cage for some morning play. I let her out and what does she do? She brings me a spatula she had stashed, who knows where! It was nibbled to bits, so THAT'S what caused her to vomit. So the drill? Extra virgin olive oil right? How long and how much should I give? She is drinking and playing, I have't seen her eat yet but she's her usual self and I'm keeping an eye on her to see if she does eat today. P.S. Thanks Hubby for not installing the drawer locks like you promised you would do last Tuesday. Here's a pic for reference. I couldn't find any pieces anywhere, so today is house cleaning and I'm vacuuming, everytime I thought I found a piece it was a piece of cracker from my daughter >.< P.S. I'm not sure Zoey was the only one who ate it, so to be safe everyone is getting squash/petroleum jelly. Zoey is just the only one who has shown signs, she vomited yesterday, others are fine. Zoey is the one who brought it to me though.

Push the pumpkin and the vaseline for a couple of days, to make sure she doesn't have a floating blockage in there! Give about 1/2 tsp pumpkin, followed a couple hours later by 1/2 tsp vas., and keep doing it every couple hours til you start seeing orange(pumpkin), goopy(vaseline) poops.

Alright thanks Sherry. I've got all the vet info if we have to rush her there, but so far she's doing good.

Good I always worry about floating blockages, because they can show up a couple months down the road

She took the squash like a champ. I know I should have been careful and checked the poop closer this morning when I did the litter box. I'll be using some Q-tips to see if she's passing it. I need to find where she had it stashed, see how much of it is on the carpet and how much is M.I.A.

Haha thanks Sherry Makes me feel good that she's being her normal self, I was worried to wake up and find her lethargic.

When Koda had his blockage he did Not go back to his usual self so that is a good sign for Zoey. Keep pushing pumpkin and Vaseline. Watch for her becoming frantic, clawing at her face, hacking a lot (more than usual), dunking from litter box to litter box, straining to potty, and of course potting with nothing coming out or not going at all. I know how terrible it feels when you think someone ate something. Good luck and keep us posted! Good wishes for Zoey to poop it out!

Pics added, what did he again Katt? Maybe we should post a 'things we never thought would cause blockages' thread of just things to make sure we put out of their reach, even simple things, it's so easy to over look little things.

Yikes! That is a lot I'd keep a SUPER close eye out and dissect all poops! ^ | it doesn't take much. This is what was removed from Koda's belly...

Oh and do you know how long it has been missing? It is possible thT they have been working on it for a while and didn't eat that much all at once but just had a little more recently...or didn't pass previous bits and finally ate enough for it to accumulate into a problem...

Eraser. He also had eaten a rubber lizard toy most of which he threw up and some of which he passed. There was also some tinfoil candy wrapping that he passed. No idea where/how he got these things.

It's possible, I don't know how long it's been missing cause I can't even remember owning a black handled one, all mine are blue handles. I showed it to hubby and that was the first thing he said too "Where did we get that one?"
