Tomorrow frome the butcher I'm gonna go get some heart tongue kidney and spleen (weirdest convo ever lol) they kept asking me what it was for. So tomorrow I'm getting a good bit of organs and today I'm gonna go get some pork

So I have a question. Yes everything is going well with the switch. For my bone in meals should I keep them with the chicken wing for now until they get used to chomping on bones? They did ok last night on the chicken wings picked one clean and chewed on the tips slightly. I got the beef heart (it's huge!!!) Liver and kidney and spleen. Then of coursed I have beef cubes and pork cubes. I'm waiting on the heart to thaw enought to start cutting it.

Here's my possible meal plan:
Monday am: chicken gizzards Monday pm: chicken wing
Tuesday am: pork cubes Tuesday pm: chicken wings (or some other bone in once I get them used to chomping on bones)
Wensday am: beef cubes Wensday pm: organ soupie ( 1 oz heart .5 oz liver .25 oz kidney .25 oz spleen with egg shell powder)
Thursday am: ground turkey (or turkey breast) Thursday pm: chicken wing
Friday am: pork cubes Friday pm: heart (if they take it if not I'll blend it and mix with eggshells and egg yolk)
Saturday am: chicken wing Saturday pm: chicken gizzard
Sunday am: turkey Sunday pm: liver kidney and spleen (1/2 kidney 1/2 spleen)
I'm open to changes
I weighed them today and sylvie is 502 and sassy is 406 they gained but slimmed down if that makes sense

you want to move them to frankenprey menu which is: 7-9 bone in meals (you have to little bones in your menu) but you should count with 9 since they are still babies and need more calcium 2-4 meat meals (since you have to give 9 BIM, only 2 meat meals is enough) 1,5 heart meal full of taurine - very important for baby ferrets! 1,5 meal half liver/half other organ ("other organ" is eveery organ that secrete, like kidney, spleen, brain...) heart and gizzard are nutritionally counted as meat meal, not organ meal

Why don't you try some pork. It's a nice mild flavor. Kits should easily eat everything and yours are very young. However they can still be stubborn and it's up to you to teach them and reassure them that this new food is actually food. Be patient and gentle with them. Sit on the floor with them and coax them like you would a small child.
It takes a little time sometimes and some can be stubborn but you'll get there.

see if you can get some quails from Asian market, it's great "bone in meat" source and ferrets usually accept them well. you can feed them with chicken necks, chicken backs, duck wings, mices (if you're not against whole prey feeding), rabbit parts, cornish game hens... there are so many possibilities i'm not sure about the pork except tiny pork buttons (we don't feed ours with pork, we have pseudorabies here)

I don't think we have that issue here

i don't think you do i'm from Croatia, Europe. it's been few sporadic cases over the past 2 years, enough for me to avoid it. unfortunatelly.... they loved pork so much. but i cannot be sure is meat tested or not
