Yeah, no kidding. I think that's the first time I've ever seen FB actually follow through!

What I meant Daun was we normally do NOT allow anything dissing any other group here. Which is why most other groups will not allow anyone to diss us. But this is on an entirely different level.

I'm not saying you shouldn't be offended, you can be if you want (I am as well), but anti semitism is not commenting on history of a result of it as a joke.
Anti semitism is hostility to or prejudice against Jews, not crude jokes about history. This person said nothing against the Jewish community.
Its a horrid joke, but I wouldn't call it anti semitic.

@skuske I was thinking the exact same thing.
The jokes are disgusting, without a doubt. However, none of the comments actually stated they held any particular belief about Jewish people. Just that they have a horrible sense of humor.
The internet is full of stupid, ignorant jerks, saying stupid ignorant crap. The keyboard has this amazing way of distancing people from their words. I'm not saying its right, but it is what it is - and there is nothing that can be done about it. These people aren't risks to the Jewish community, they're just idiots.
Idiots make up a considerable amount of the internet: lots put considerable effort into being offensive as possible, others do that by just being idiots with uneducated beliefs. Either way, being offended does nothing to change their views, while upsetting you.
Perhaps my generation is just less shocked by the sheer volume & depth of human stupidity.

I was arguing the idea that it was anti semitic, not that you should be offended. Also, you don't know my religion quite frankly, which I think is unrelated to the offensiveness of the joke.

Unless you are part of a group you get no say in what does or doesn't count as persecution against them. There's no debate on this, and you are definitely entitled to your opinion. Thank you for your input.

Everyone- that book in and of itself is very antisemetic and that includes any use of it even in a crude "joke". Which is why there is such a HUGE uproar in Germany right now as the copyright has expired and a printing company discussed reprinting it. Personally I think it should be burned.

"Those who cannot learn from the past are doomed to repeat it" - George Santayana. Mein Kampf is an all access pass into the mind behind the Holocaust. The brain that engineered the most appalling event in human history. The key to avoiding similar events moving forward is in Mein Kampf. Radical beliefs exist, and always will. The significance is in who holds those beliefs. Much of the utter garbage Trump spews, parallels Hitler's views & actions, but instead of Jewish people, its Muslims. Moreover, no government should have the right to tell its people what they can, and cannot read. IAnd they would have a difficult time doing so when Mein Kampf is already available as a free PDF. And here are some Jewish people echo my sentiments exactly: www.ijn.com/columns/view-from-denver/5878-should-we-read-mein-kampfbookriot.com/2015/01/30/ban-ignorance-not-mein-kampf/

Again, this thread is not a bashing or dissing thread. I made this thread to warn people to stay away from this hateful group, so they don't have the same horrible experience I did. I honestly do not care about your opinion on whether or not the book is a good read. This is a thread about a group that people should stay away from, and at this point there isn't really anything further to discuss. Justifying why you think the book is beneficial is not needed, and it doesn't make it any less of a book filled with hatespeech. Facebook has removed the post, people are aware of it, those with a good nature have unfollowed them, and people who were potentially interested can now find this information. That was the entire goal, the thread has no purpose past that.
