While I have you here. Just a quick question on the soup. I know you puree the liver and hearts and it altogether. But they are only supposed to have a few meals of the hearts and organs each week. Do you feed them this soup everyday??

Hi I cant really say how the others on here use the soup I make a raw meat soup ( or mush ) when my kits are three weeks old they are still feeding off mom but her milk is beginning to decrease in nutrients and she needs a break and some help I feed my kits the raw soup mush four times per day ( in between times and at night they suckle from mom )my raw meat mush varies from day to day so they do not imprint on any one meat ( one day it could be ground beef +a little liver 1 egg and 1 tsp bonemeal blended together with a little kitten replacer milk ) they following day I may use chicken minus the liver and a raw egg using a boiled egg in its place mine only get soup for one week by week four they should be eating ground meat week five cubed or sliced meat week six whole prey and a variety of mixed cubed meats ( heart and liver is only given once per week ) do not alter any kit until it has over wintered ( if it is born june 2016 wait until april may 2017 ) this way the body clock has a chance to learn to adjust to the natural season and the adrenal gland learns to turn on and off good luck with your search take care bye for now Bev

I would like to have had her stay and learn more. She was quite young and had a wonderful opportunity to learn much more. Perhaps she will lurk as a guest and continue her education.

@marka the soup is made in proportion for what a balanced meal would be And it is used during transition, as well as for sick fuzz if they don't want their regular diet, so it is safe to feed for a period of time.
