I'm breeding all my jills this year, Nancy with Vinnie, Bandit with another polecat, I'm not sure who to breed Willow with out of Jimmy (large albino hob from Scotland) or Vinnie so I've created a vote so you guys can decide. The hob Willow doesn't be bred with, Whisper will be as I don't want them going with the same hob since they're sisters.

MatchFerret.com Low romantic music and candle light dinners of whole rabbit. A double date under the stars The funny thing is that my Mom's name is Nancy and she was madly in love with a Vinnie in high school. Thank goodness they were too young and I get to be here, but every time you say Nancy then I picture my Mom. I'll vote for Vinnie just because my Mom still talks about her Vinnie sometimes. I'm editing this now because I thought I had already mentioned this and realized that I didn't but this post is all in fun and our breeders on board will offer real advice from their own experiences and knowledge.

Can you post pics? Of them? This is Jimmy, he's a large muscular hob who's quite broad compared to Vinnie. This is Vinnie he's quite a lot smaller than Jimmy with a slightly longer face but he has bloodlines from Belgium, France and Russia.

Willow is the largest of all my jills, Nancy is my smallest which is why she going with Vinnie, so far it's 50 50 vote at the moment, hopefully there will be a higher vote on one of the hobs by the end of voting.

I assume as you are breeding albino males, both the jills are as well? TBH I would be looking at the genetic backgrounds of each a few generations back, and seeing who would complement who the best. Otherwise, why breed them?

Otherwise, why breed them? Both the hobs are albino, Willow is chocolate and her sister Whisper is silver, I know the genetic background of all of my ferrets and the hobs and they don't carry anything that'll effects the kits health and the hobs are completely unrelated so inbreeding isn't a problem. Vinnie had some kits with Nancy and Whisper and all were lovely kits and they're I'm still in contact with the people who brought them and they've had no behaviour problems or health issue The only difference in the kits will be size, Jimmy is a big hob and is likely to produce bigger kits and Vinnie is a smaller hob, I'm just not sure which to breed with Willow.

off subject a little. Wondering how blazes occur? Just read something a little sad--- a deaf mother can not hear her babies cry.

Blazes are a random colour mutations that some ferrets carry and then their kits have the blaze pattern, a deaf ferret can't here her kits but they stay very close to their kits and only leave the nest when they're using the litter box or getting food which they take back to the nest to eat. Nancy is deaf and she's a brilliant mother

I'm not sure this is something that should be up for a vote from non-breeders, especially non-breeders who don't know your ferrets.

Nancy is deaf and she's a brilliant mother Did Nancy go to Vinnie last year? Just wondering if she is actually a blaze or panda 'under' her albino. And even more random, in passing conversation with a friend the other day, he was saying the only ferret he ever had that was deaf was also an albino. And he owns numerous mitts and blazes, so you would immediately assume it would be those that were deaf.
