Been a while since I have been on, lot's has happened, I will update in another thread.
Anyways, we seemed to have had Gerris IBS under control with the elimination of chicken. He was doing quite well aside from an ear infection, although he would tell you we caused it by the awful evil ear drops and yucky tasting medicine

Hmmm, part of my post didn't show up, but yes, I am sure he was convinced we were.
Well, my question was it seems that he is having an allergic reaction, I suspect beef, is it possible to develop an allergy much later own. We don't feed him beef often and he seemed to be fine with it before, but now he has swelling again like he gets if he eats chicken.

The swelling is gone today and his face looks normal again. I am trying to decide whether or not to test him with a small amount of organic beef we have in freezer in a few days or whether I should just cut out beef entirely from the menu.

It's lovely to have you back. I've missed hearing from you.
I wouldn't test out the beef again for quite awhile. Can you find him another red meat, perhaps lamb? You want the red meat for the iron and Vitamin B found in it.

Thank you, it is good to be back.
I haven't found goat meat locally but we can get lamb.I am sure if i look hard enough I can find goat meat though, as we have some mediteranian and middle eastern stores. I just haven't checked those.
