So I'm gonna try this again. I orginally had a Thread for Kasper and Ghost but since Ghost was adopted into a new forever home. (Both boys were fosters. * However my daughter has became extremely attached to Kasper He is now a Permanent member)
Anyway. Now I have Sky trying to Transition. For those that know sky and Fawn were fosters I had back in the summer and they were returned....ugh.... I have been doing raw since Sunday with them. Sky is doing well Fawn is not. She is shutting down. So I feel like stressing her isn't a good option. She was a sweet attention seeking ferret and with trying to make her eat Raw. Now she hides when she sees me. And if I let her out to play she won't even play she goes and hides because she knows I'm gonna try to get her to eat food. She even bit me when trying to get a hold of her this morning to eat. She has starting hissing too. I feel like I'm stressing her so I switched her to a High end Kibble like my other ferrets eat that I cannot get to switch.
NOW on to Kasper and Sky
Kasper Born 9/13/15 weighs in last at 2.11#s Has eatten raw for about 6 weeks since I got him as a Foster.
Sky was Born 2/1/15 weighs in last at 2#
Started on soup on Sunday. Was fed High quality kibble when fostered with me til adopted in July. ...that Owner lied and Switched her to nasty 9 lives Cat food.
Kasper eats pretty much whatever I give him. I do have issues getting him to eat the bones. I have to crush them still and I tend to find many pieces picked clean of meat. Or he literally will toss the bones out of the cage. So I'm working on getting g him to eat the bones. If anyone has another suggestion.
Sky is getting better with soupie I had feed her multiple times a day. She eats about 1 oz of Soup daily with all her feedings. She eats maybe a teaspoon at a time. Before getting really irritated with me holding her. I give her break for a few and try again. Is 1 oz ok daily for now?
That's total daily NOT each feeding.
Kasper-when I first got him. I gotta get a new photo
