Chunk size is looking great! And both boys are eating the same size? Are they eating their bones whole yet or are you still having to smash them a lot?
Glad the chick crumble is working better for you. Did you get the sweet PDZ also? Since I've started using that, the litter box has almost no smell at all. It's nice!
How are jax's poops looking? He should be almost through with his antibiotics I think. If he were mine, I would give him a few doses of kefir to help build up his good bacteria.

Hi yes both boys are getting the same size of chunks. Jax is not good with finishing his food like in the beginning. Gomez 95% of the time finishes it off, we think cause he's afraid brother will come eat it lol. We have tried to put them together on the same level side by side to eat and nope they want no part of that. We are feeding them on different levels and thru the day they will check each others out. They are eating bone and mostly on their own, turkey I still bust up but not wing tip, smelt or CGH bones. Vet called back about our call that the bump is back and bigger....we are going to try and take a picture next to like a penny. She says take it off since they are delicate little animals so we know. She didn't culture but under the microscope it was clear fluid and no cells. Jax finished up his antibiotic Friday and yes we have been giving him some kifer. Have a good day

It scared us, his gag or cough whatever it was just went on every few hours since Saturday night. Is there anything homemade or that we can get that will coat the throat if it happens again?

Poor little Gomez. He must have been exhausted from all that coughing. I'm glad he's better. It sounds to me like he had either a hair or a tiny bone stuck in his mouth/throat. Oil should help either of those un-stick. I don't think a bone stuck in his teeth would have caused a gagging reflex, but if you suspect a bone is stuck and can't see anything, try using a q-tip and running it along his teeth. If there is something there, it should catch on the q-tip. You mentioned that the boys are not finishing all of their meals right now. That is very possibly because spring is just around the corner. Remember that they'll eat less and lose some weight as summer approaches. They can lose up to 40% of their body weight, so be ready for that. They're doing great with their diet. Let's work on getting your menu tweaked and start moving you toward graduation. Go back to page 3 of this thread and read through that mini-encyclopedia I gave you. Make sure you don't have any questions about any of that information. Then give me your current menu in the following format. (I'll need it this way for submission rather than the image of your journal page.) You can just copy/paste this into your reply and then edit it to add what you're serving. Also, feel free to switch up the organ/heart/bone/muscle meals. This is just a basic format. Sun AM: organ meal (½ liver, ½ other organ) Sun PM: edible bone-in meat Mon AM: edible bone-in meat (or muscle) Mon PM: edible bone-in meat Tues AM: heart Tues PM: edible bone-in meat Wed AM: muscle meat Wed PM: edible bone-in meat Thur AM: heart and organ (½ meal of heart, ½ mixed organs) Thur PM: edible bone-in meat Fri AM: edible bone-in meat (or muscle) Fri PM: edible bone-in meat Sat AM: muscle meat Sat PM: edible bone-in meat

Good good good Eating less and they are really losing weight but then today they started eating a lot, who knows how long it will last. We are finalizing the menu so we can post and adjust if needed.
