Alright guys and gals, I'd like to hear your suggestions for a once in awhile freeze dried treat. I don't have any meat on hand that I can hand feed my guys cause well it's either mush or on the bone ha! So what brands of freeze-dried do you guys suggest getting as a 'treat' persay so I can reward pooping in the litterbox, visiting the cage during free roam etc.

I meant to include if you think that brand is pricey. As much as I love to try new stuff, I'm looking for quality over pricing but am still on a budget when it comes to the ferts. Also where do you purchase it?

I always get my S & C from Casey's Hidden Pantry. I can also get freeze dried treats, as well as jerky treats, at my local specialty pet store.

I like Halo's liv-a-little's chicken treats. Those were the only ones Hiro would eat after awhile, also. I also love the dream treats by Wysong.

MoJo really likes Pure Bites...it's geared towards dogs, but it's 100% meat, no other ingredients! I dipped the treat in water to get him to try it. They also make it for cats, it's the same thing, just smaller pieces

Forgot to add: Memphis won't touch them, he's difficult that way also, I think they are a bit pricey, but he loves them. And he only gets 1-2 a day, so it works out

cadet brand duck breast jerky treats for dogs. they also make a chicken one, too.
no additives at all - no flavorings, supplements or preservatives.

Everybody in my household loves freeze-dried liver. I get Foster and Smith brand (naturally) but there are several different brands, including a Pure Bites one. Plus, it's not smelly or slimy like raw liver!

my dog eats the liver freeze dried pure bites. the ferret won't touch them. Both prefer the slimy raw liver from the grocery store which i HATE touching.

my ferrets also like the purebites and I'll feed them little bits of the Wysong food as treats as well (it has bits of organ in it too).
