Since Enzo is doing so well on raw I want to set up a meal plan/schedule. Please give your input on what you think of this.
Sunday: 1oz adult mouse + 2oz small rat Monday: 2oz guinea pig + 1oz adult mouse Tuesday: 3-4oz adult quail Wednesday: 2x meals of 1oz pork heart and 1oz lamb liver Thursday: 1oz adult mouse + 2oz guinea pig Friday: 3-4oz adult quail Saturday: 2oz small rat + 1oz adult mouse
Is this nutritionally complete for my 3yo gibb?

you may want to make sure he is willing to eat all those things first,
although you seem to be lucky to have such a wiling ferret I am sure you will eventually find something he does not prefer.
It may be best try something out with him before buying a bunch of it.
I bought a bunch of Norway rats from rodentpro, and none of my ferrets will eat them.
Some ferrets will resist eating straight heart and liver, has you tested to see if he will eat that without making it into soup.
I know I have wasted a lot of time and money into jumping into buying a whole lot of something without making sure they like it first.
I also while testing to see if they will eat certain things got them to eat duck. but once I introduced all the other meats I found that they will no longer eat duck. So I am left with quite of bit of duck in the freezer.
And for some reason my ferrets don't care for dark mice. Go figure.

If he does eat all of it, is it a balanced meal plan? Sent from my BLU STUDIO C using Tapatalk

if what you feeding is whole quail, rat mouse, GP then you do not need to feed the heart and liver meal, as you are feeding a complete whole prey diet. if you substitute any of the whole prey above with frankenprey (just meat) then you will have to supplement with heart and liver.

Oh! A lot of the meal plans I found for whole prey said there should be at least one meal of heart + another secreting organ. But if I can just do whole prey that will be perfect

Frankenprey (mix of meat and heart and liver, other organs) is to mimic whole prey. if your going to feed whole prey it is everything they would be getting naturally so no need to augment with heart and liver as they are getting the correct proportion of heart in live in the prey. you may find with one ferret that your menu above may be too much food and you will have to get used to how much he eats and adjust. you can just bump a meal or two until he eats it. you can keep whole prey in the cage for up to 3 days before it gets funky and you have to toss it. I let me nose tell me it is time to dispose of it.
It can't hurt to give some heart but too much liver can cause vitamin A toxicity.

I have not updated in a few days because nothing much has changed. Enzo is currently readily accepting this meal plan: Monday am: 2 oz chicken wing (he is accepting bone-in extremely well, eats all of it) Monday pm: 1 oz adult mouse Tuesday am: 2 oz chicken wing Tuesday pm: 2 oz pork heart Wednesday am: 2 oz chicken wing Wednesday pm: 1 oz adult mouse Thursday am: 2-3 oz large chunks of chicken thigh Thursday pm: 1 oz adult mouse Friday am: 2 oz chicken wing Friday pm: 1 oz pork heart + 1 oz lamb liver Saturday am: 2 oz chicken wing Saturday pm: 2 oz lamb liver Sunday am: 2 oz chicken wing Sunday pm: 1 oz pork heart + 1 oz lamb liver So far we have gone through Saturday - today on schedule. He has not lost any weight and we are working on getting his poops more solid. Feedback is appreciated. EDIT: Forgot to mention, this is only his plan until our RodentPro order arrives, then it's on to full whole prey! Enjoy this sleepy picture of him. He spent a LOT of time running around with the other animals today (we got snowed in. Tomorrow will be Enzo's very first snow day!)
