And thank you guys for thinking of us, I'm worried about poor Craven because they've been together a long time and he's pretty up there in years, the other two I don't think will notice as much, I did bring his body up and let them sniff and say their goodbyes and he'll be buried in the backyard with the rest of the fuzzies we've lost. Down to 3 now which is so strange for us.

I'm so sorry, it never gets any easier and when there are no answers it's twice as hard. I will light a travelling candle for your little Koda. Please know that he does not hold you responsible and you aren't responsible. You held him close when he knew he had to continue his journey. You gave him love and a place to live, and the most cherished part was that you shared yourself with him. You gave him his heartkey allowing him to continue his journey, his next adventure without any fear. He is once again beyond pain and fear. Know that he will always be with you, because even though he took a piece of your heart, he left a piece of himself with you too. Memories, his gift that he shared with you. You need only close your eyes and once again Koda will walk with you. He is with you always. Gentle journey little one. You are so missed. ciao

All I'll say is this, the title nearly gave me a heart attack, your koda is just as important, if death is no respecter of persons, it must be reconised that no matter who some one is, some one loves them very much. Even if not on earth.

I am so sorry that you lost your sweet big boy Koda. This was not your fault, and any one of us would have thought the same as you. The big boys are a little unpredictable in weight, since if they lose it come spring, it seems normal. If they gain it, it also seems normal because they're so big. You did the best you can, and though it may not seem like it, it was enough. Thank you for giving Koda a wonderful life with you. Dook in peace, beautiful boy.

I'm so sorry, it's hard when something like this happens so quickly. Don't blame yourself.. That's what I did, and still do, and it makes everything so much worse - and still doesn't bring them back.
Just remember the good times you had with him and now, whatever was wrong with him, isn't going to bother him anymore.
Lot's of love =[

Oh no! I am so sorry for your loss. There is no way that you could have caught this or prevented it, or even forseen it. Don't blame yourself at all. It was his time. It sounds to me like he was probably pretty old, perhaps the odd symptoms had something to do with his age? Hold your 3 living fuzz tight and you will all pull through this. *hugs*

I am so very sorry for your loss, GP. I know you did everything you could for this little guy - fuzzies seem so easily snatched away and with so little warning. They often hide problems, and Koda did not even show signs at the vet - please do not feel it is your fault. I echo everyone else in saying you did all you could. *hugs* We are all here for you in this sad time!
