That is fantastic!!! When you can, start replacing chicken breast with something like thigh(breast is too lean) and increasing the chunk size. Still keep sprinkling some eggshell powder on each meal to help with stools Once she is on half inch thick strips, we will start introducing bone to her as well as other proteins. Right now you need to advance her every 2-3 meals, even if it is only an extra couple of slightly larger pieces in her meal.

Alright, today I was mean and gave her 1/2 inch by 1 inch chunks. She looks angrily at me as she struggles to fit it all in her mouth, lol.

But she ate it! She is in the process of learning how to scissor off pieces small enough to swallow As she does that, her jaws will start to strengthen and she will be able to crunch bones. Good ones to start with are either chicken neck bones, or Cornish hen, as those are smaller. For the interim we will keep her on muscle meats for a bit, sprinkled with eggshell powder and giving her the normal amount of heart/liver/organ weekly. What other organ are you able to access other than liver?

Oh excellent! Also keep working her at size so her jaws strengthen Gizzards are especially good for that as they are a tough chew. Also, if she can't find chicken necks, chicken wings will work as well You just need to chop/smash them up with a cleaver. What I do is segment the wings at/near the joints. Cut the middle part in between the two bones so you have to separate pieces, then smash up the drumette so the marrow is exposed.

I'll talk to my mom to figure out what she can get as she does the shopping Then I'll work out a menu. We tried the chicken wings today, they were pretty big chunks but she did really well on them. I'll see what she has as her midnight snack lol. Poor little girl, she is just getting her food all mixed up. When I got her she ate purina kitten kibble and friskies wet food. Yuck.

You AND your mom are both doing an amazing job with her And for her menu, I would like to see what she is eating now, rather than what you want her to have. That way we can work out what she actually needs.
