I noticed the weight fluctuations while switching also but now since they're completely transitioned the weights have been around the same numbers. It could also because Gomez has firmed up, lost fat but gained muscle kind of thing. Did the vet weigh him at the vet clinic? Maybe theres a difference with the scales. He still sounds like a nice weight. My boy Beavis weighs 1080g. Ferrets do get quite stubborn. Funny little creatures! It does sound like Gomez is doing quite well with the soupie and slivers. Have you tried cutting up the gizzards or running them through some warm water?

They are funny little creatures for sure. I wondered about the scales too being different, same type but still.

My name is pronounced 'Mah-Chah-n" If that makes sense. I also love the way you weigh Gomez. Ferret in a box (lol!) Gomez will probably need some work when it comes to gizzard. Spitting them out sounds like he's being little stubborn. Instead of cutting them up, you can try putting a piece into his mouth and hold it to one side. You will have to hold him firmly because he will struggle but eventually he will start chewing. I used this technique when getting Haru to eat bone and it worked quite well after I managed to get it in her mouth. When I did it persistently, she was eating it from my hand without me having to hold it near her mouth.

I just walked Gomez while scarlett was in the grocery store... and he went potty. This is the result. Which to me looks seedy. Thoughts??? Do we have an issue here and what needs to be done.. Signed Paranoid parent ...aka Jami

What was his last meal before the last poop? He might have an upset digestive tract but it might as well be new food or a bit of stress if you took him with you?
Is he still drinking fine? Does he still have appetite?
Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

He ate great for breakfast then we took him with us which is not unusual and had the seedy looking poop....came home and he ate more soupie then napped and did the last running poop
