You can certainly try the pork. Don't be surprised if he needs some coercion but he should have it a go. As far as amounts, he will probably eat more than normal as they seem to try and make up for lost time. It's also sliding up to winter which means that he will also eat more than normal. Mixing chunks or making a grind would work. At this point it becomes a game of trial and error, so don't become frustrated. Don't try too many things at once. If you're going to change proteins or try a new protein then don't add too many chunks so as to not overwhelm with both taste and texture. ciao

I am making more soupie tonight with pork chops. I will add in chicken slivers once he's comfortable with that. I ordered the 'Now' brand bone meal powder. Hopefully it gets here before I make the next batch of soupies. I also picked up some pork button bones today Thinking of the future I got 8.8 kg for 27$ I will probably portion that out this weekend. Here are the pictures of Bruce from this week:

Tuesday Bruce only ate a total of 2.8oz of soupie. I started to mix in the pork soupie that night, and i've been slowly increasing the amount of pork soupie. Tomorrow morning he'll gave full pork soupie for breakfast. Wednesday Bruce only had a total of 2.4oz soupie. He still isn't seeking out the food himself sometimes. I have been occasionally hand feeding him if he hasn't eaten in a while. Today i gave him 1oz this morning, and the hubby gave him another ounce at 2pm. I will give him another 1-1.5oz tonight at 9pm. I saught advice on the facebook group because of Bruce's poops. We came to the conclusion it was probably just switch poops because they didn't stink and he had a fairly normal poop later that day. Yesterday his energy wasn't great, but I wasn't around too much. I had a very dirty horse to go clean! His energy today has been very good. He just finished eating after some very bouncy play with a lot of dooking ^_^

Yesterday Bruce had a total of 2.6oz of pork soup. Energy level was good. I am going to make a batch of grinds to mix in with the soup to get him moving forward. My only concern is that it still seems like he's eating very little. He doesn't seem to initiate esting himself, even though he knows where the food is. He seens to only eat if i first give him sone food from my finger and then lead him to the plate. Will it just come with time for him to initiate eating himself?

Last night I mixed .5oz pork grinds in with 1oz soup. Bruce ate some after I fed him from my finger, then went to sleep. I tried again at 11pm, and he ate everything off the plate. This morning, we seem to have hit a bump in the road. He doesn't want to eat at all. I offered from my finger, and he'll lick some off, but won't go to the plate and eat at all. I tried putting some salmon oil on it to entice him, but that only worked a couple of times. I'll keep trying every hour or so. I'll update with pictures and weight later.
