That's exactly why lol. The B&E twins come from a long line of working 'binos and are real brats. They can't hunt rabbits here but they sure can hunt trouble (headwall) ciao

Hi - I'm in UK and have my ten ferrets outside in a large aviary style roofed enlosure. I have no choice but to keep them outside and yes I miss out on some of the interactions that folks get when they're with they're ferrets all the time but I still love the advantages of outdoor living too. If you have any questions about keeping ferrets outdoors in UK I'm happy to answer them. Also about how smelly intact male ferrets get - I've been there 5 times lol This is my ferret enclosure when it was first built. This is what its like after the ferrets have been partying overnight. Note the pink stool is where I spend lots of time sitting cuddling and playing with them. They have access to a 3 storey & a 2 storey hutch to sleep etc in. The little hut at the bottom is there feed den and I change up the toys and layout quite often to stimulate them. I also take them for walks through the town and I have a couple of playpens I put on the grassfor them to dig though I have to supervise the or they dig out and escape lol. Eventually I'll do up the garden with escape proof fencing so they can run loose for a time each day.
