I have some sad news, tonight I came home to a very sick and seizing Ellie, She was doing so well and after 1/2 day of not eating she took a drastic downturn. When I got home She had not eaten anything, she was dehydrated. I had bought out the Sub Q fluids and given her 30ccs, but she continued to go downhill. she eventually passes in our arms. she spent the last few hours in our arms. She will be missed, she was a sweetheart and spent the last few 5 months getting to do whatever she wanted to. 2 weeks after we got her she was put back on low dose of Prednisolone, She responded well and was improving, she had spunk. the last couple of days she was restless and would spent 30 mins sleeping followed by 20 mins running around the house and 5 mins eating, repeatedly. She did not like cages and we would always give in and let her run the house until she went to sleep, then trying carefully not to wake her as we transferred her into the cage. Ellie will be missed she was a very special ferret, she is now with her sister.
