ok so....
Trying to take 4 ferrets for a walk just turns into a disaster each time i take them.. The wood that I take them to is a good 20min drive away so i cant take 2 at a time. I was thinking if I had one of these pet strollers I could walk 2 while having the other 2 in the stroller and visa versa- to make things slightly easier!
Does anyone else have experience of these strollers? or am I just going to look like crazy ferret lady with a stroller? LOL!

are you trying to walk them TO the wood, or you're driving there and then walking them in the wood? if the latter, maybe just pick up a nice cat or dog carrier?
although, I can't even imagine trying to walk four ferrets.. I struggle immensely with two, lol. we have a very large backyard, so if the d*mn weather permits, I'll take one out and walk around the back yard for 20 minutes or so, then get the other one.

I drive to the woods and then walk them all. I wouldnt be able to carry 2 in a carrier and walk 2 at the same time (i really would have my hands full then) i thought a stroller would be easier..
I remember seeing a lady at the beach one day and she had 5 ferrets in a stroller, it seemed to work quite well.. the ones in the stroller were asleep while she was walking the other ones.
Just wondered if anyone else had one x

But you could leave the carrier in the car. As long as the window is open and they are not in there for more than like 20 min at a time it should be okay. If it is super hot or cold I would worry, but if the weather is moderate I would think they would be fine for 20 min. My boys are in their carrier a good 20 min when I drive to and from Shane's regularly. I often have to stop on the way and run into the store to grab something (I am always quick and take them in when I can) but they are always just fine. They sleep almost the whole way.

We had a conversation in regards to these pet strollers...now they are awesome but....I looked into 2 different ones and they were not ferret safe. Remember they're created for small dogs, and large cats (I actually saw my first one at a cat show). They may have changed but they're assembled similar to baby strollers. They have holes and gaps. You can probably (actually someone on the old list did fix one of these strollers) fix this but if I remember correctly she bought hers used and it cost her almost as much as buying a new one to correct the escaping issues. It's just a thought as I still think buying one of these is still fairly pricey ciao

My daughter bought me one for Mother's Day a few years back and I love it. I take my three out all the time in it. I know another lady who has one and she uses it all the time. There's lots on the market to choose from.
