kenai and Koda have always been fed I believe together since they first tasted meat, they never fight over their meals but decided since they are going to mature to get them used to separate feeding areas, however at the exact same time they will switch their meals over and eat in harmony, no fighting just literally like they read each others minds?! They do however eat the correct measurements of heart liver and kidneys and not steal each others that is when I draw the line with meal switching so they don't become malnourished, but with their rabbit legs they will switch even though they are the same size legs?! Both are very similar in size and weight so it's not like one is getting less?

LOL....don't you know the one your brother has always tastes better ciao I did wonder if that theory worked with ferrets.. Aha I've tried even feeding them in other places to eachother and they will then refuse to eat any more of theirs if thy are not allowed to switch it's literally like having kids, but they don't fight over who gets what they literally agree to swap?! Ahaha

I have literally watched Sir and Missy "trade/steal" each other's food for 5 minutes before they settled to actually eat. Same meat, same size they just have to do it sometimes. Very amusing to watch!

Very amusing to watch! It is super entertaining, it's amazing how I can just let the roam the garden while watching them for hours!

Ferrets are really silly. Mine won't always decide to eat at the same time, but for non-organ meals they just share a big bowl. Nova will be eating a piece, then Mocha will come up and decide she wants that one... Even though the bowl is full of nearly identical pieces.
Obviously if Nova chose that piece, it must be the good one...
